The 1st rainbow by the waterfall I saw left me breathless.
I deem myself to be adventurous and still want to try sky-diving one day.
I love to laugh out loud and break into smiles easily.
Some may say that I'm easily amused, I choose to think the person is funny enough to make me smile.
I'm satisfied with what I have in life and awaits to see my future with open arms and mind.

Jello Shots? NO Jello Shots! Thursday, September 28, 2006 10:17 AM
Headed down to Suba at Millenia Walk to meet the Mktg Gang for free Jello Shots coz it's Ladies' Night. I rushed down after work, walked from City Hall MRT to Millenia Walk in my killer high heels for about 20 min but guess what?? NO JELLO SHOTS! I forgot the reason why they didn't serve it. Anyway, I was hungry and disappointed! hahaha.

Luckily I was compensated with a free flow of Strawberry Choc fondue. yum yum... But we had to eat it at the Bar Counter where they put all the strawberries and fondue pot. But us being typical Kiasu Singaporeans, we quickly thought of an alternative plan -- bring our emptied bowl, or rather basket, that was previously filled with hot and pily wedges, to the Bar and "discreetly" put all the strawberry choc into the basket. Culprit in hand? Ade and Moi! Culprit at work? ME!! Ade didn't discuss her plan with me coz apparently, she had strategized in her head that she'll try to distract the attention away from me by standing in front of the bar and eating the strawberry choc, while I secretly out the strawberry chocs into the basket. She had it so EASY! hahaha.... Great night that ended up with loads of photo-taking! =)

After Suba, I bidded the rest goodbye and wanted to take a cab home from outside Centennial Towers. I thought I saw quite a few no of waiting cabs but nv did I know that they were ALL ON CALL! Bloody hell... I waited for so long for a cab in vain and had to walk to outside Suntec Carrefour for a cab. And AGAIN there's lots of cabs on call and the Q for taxi was so long! I waited for more than half hour and I had only taken a few steps forward in the Q. Eventually, I gave up and took the bus shuttle back to City Hall. I tried to hail for a cab outside the MRT station and AGAIN NO CABS!!! I'm sure you all can guess how I eventually went home -- SBS BUS 124! Arrggghhh... By then, my feet were killing me!! I had been walking around and standing up on the bus for like 1 and a half hr!! I called home and complained to Mummy of my situation. She called back later when I was in the bus to ask me if she should bring a pair of slippers to the bus stop that I'm alighting so that I can walk back home comfortably, since my house's a distance from the bus stop. I tried to act hero and say "No need!" then she said that I can go home alone then, she won't be fetching me from the bus stop.

I thought that the bus trip home was toooo long and draggy coz my feet were really killing me & I'm standing up. But once I alighted the bus and tried to walk, OMG! That was even worse!! I had to walk a few steps, stop for a while, wriggle my toes, then walk a few steps and stop and repeat the whole process. Just when I thought I wanted to grab a seat somewhere to take a rest, I SAW MY MUMMY!!! She came down to fetch me!! Then I slowly dragged myself towards her and gave her the "Mummy, my legs are killing me" look. & next, my mum did the sweetest thing. She offered to let me take her slippers (that's 3 sizes smaller than my feet) and she'll wear the heels that's 3 sizes bigger than hers!

At that moment, I was reminded of the scene in the Korean Movie "Wo de Ye Man Nu You" where the lead actress demanded the lead actor to exchange their shoes when the girl's feet were hurting from the heels and the guy had to give up his sports shoes so that the girl can wear them and the guy ended up walking in heels.

In reflection, who needs a bf when I've my Mummy!! haha.
