The 1st rainbow by the waterfall I saw left me breathless.
I deem myself to be adventurous and still want to try sky-diving one day.
I love to laugh out loud and break into smiles easily.
Some may say that I'm easily amused, I choose to think the person is funny enough to make me smile.
I'm satisfied with what I have in life and awaits to see my future with open arms and mind.

Forbidden City Saturday, September 23, 2006 7:02 PM
Watched Forbidden City last Thurs. I had quite high expectations of the musical after hearing good reviews from all over. I can't say I'm disappointed coz it was pretty nice. I prefer the 2nd half though. Kit Chan's singing was good but I thought the 2 ang mohs' singing were more outstanding.

If they wanna bring this musical to Broadway (which they really intend to), I think there are more things to brush up. First will definitely be the props... I didn't feel the "Grand" Palace of the Forbidden City and they left the stage "uncleaned" and messy with the aftermath of the "war" for quite a long while. I was waiting for them to clear up the mess which didn't happen all the way till the last last bit of the show. And the casts -- hmm... there's too little pple. Couldn't feel the impact as much.

But overall, I enjoyed the musical and I'll think that it's perfect to bring the musical overseas -- to spread the China influence over to the West. But 1st, they gotta get the facts right coz I read from Life! today that there was a mistake with the script and that it didn't reflect the China History entirely.

And great company makes everything perfect. =)
