Random updating time!
Went to watch "Click" on Friday evening. Highly recommendable. Not the silly flick I thought it will be when I 1st saw the movie poster. I'm starting to like Adam Sandler. Love almost all the movies which he acted in --
Wedding Singer, Anger Management, 50 First Dates and now Click. The Press commented that he's gonna be the next "Jim Carrey". What's your take about that? Personally, I think I prefer Adam Sandler now.
I drove down to Orchard on Sat morning alone for the Doc's appt. Kinda proud of myself. And I think I was trying to be a Samaritan that day. I gave in to the first girl who asked me to donate money (Flag Day) and even though my hands were full with plastic bags while walking back to my car, I stopped to let this boy do a survey. & guess what? I won the top prize while playing "Scratch & Win".
7 Nights accomodation in a hotel abroad!! Later, the manager came to congratulate me and said that I could redeem a $30 Isetan, Taka or Metro Voucher! Just when I thought I'm so lucky, the manager quickly realized that the Survey Boy had made a mistake. Apparently, I'm supposed to be 24 and above in order to redeem ANY prize!! WTH!! Since when did 21 become
ineligible redeeming any prize?!
OKie, NO MORE NEXT TIME!Sat Night was spent with the NTU Mkt. Arranged to have dinner at Al Dente (Esplanade) coz we wanna catch the last Firework. All of us had to brave the crowd and traffic congestion just to meet at the restaurant. Kudos to FMQ and Jamie who spent 3 hours to reach at our destination. They had to park at NLB and RAN to Esplanade coz the parkings were all full. I'm lucky to snatch a slot at Suntec earlier at 6.45pm. Anyway, the crowd's crazy. Oh, KL joined us for dinner too coz the Europe pple can meet her too. & Qiuling and BF made an unbelievable remark that they thought Kailing look younger than all of us and that she looked like she's only 16!! KL burst out laughing and I couldn't believe what I heard. KL -- don't be too happy by their comment.oh, back to Sat Night. Apparently, it's a joint birthday celebration for dear 33 and moi.
Should I say "I'm surprised?" =) I love the silky and sexy topshop top (as described by Dan). Shall wait for the occassion to wear it. I'm certain 33 totally adore her pressies too. haha. and to Dear Miwa Chan --
So touched by your effort to make the video for us. Though you're not around to celebrate with us, your presence was certainly felt!!and thanx to NTU Mkt for the surprise celebration. For making effort to brave thru the traffic and the crowd. I'll wanna believe that you guys were there for 33 and moi, and not for the fireworks. haha... =)Did sth I never thought I'll do on Sunday.
