indulgin' the simplest pleasure of my life

The 1st rainbow by the waterfall I saw left me breathless.
I deem myself to be adventurous and still want to try sky-diving one day.
I love to laugh out loud and break into smiles easily.
Some may say that I'm easily amused, I choose to think the person is funny enough to make me smile.
I'm satisfied with what I have in life and awaits to see my future with open arms and mind.

A Simple Affair Monday, August 21, 2006 9:46 AM
For this year's birthday, I think I played it really simple. Nothing fanciful and big, Just simple meals with my loved ones and friends.

Friday was lunch with my fellow colleagues from the department and they even bought me a Mango cake!

Fri evening: Since sis isn't around, my family didn't dine out at restaurants. I just asked my mum to buy back my fave crabs and satay. and we ate at the leisure of our own dining table and watched TV at the same time.

Sat and Sun -- dinner with NP girls and hostel friends. Tried mexican food for the 1st time and I think it tasted good. El Patio in Holland Village for anyone who feels alittle mexican and wanna try out their dishes - tortilla wraps and nacho chips are Da Best! Sunday was my favourite Jap food and desserts at Village thereafter. Oh, and I forgot the great shopping I had on Sunday afternoon. Such an immense pleasure to sign my name away! hahaha...

Thx to all the well wishes given by you guys out there. I should give special mentions to those who made special efforts to making things for me -- I'm so touched! Ade: for the hand-made mobile accessory sent thru the traditional snail-mail. I love receiving letters through snail-mail. Huan Min: for the gorgeous pair of butterfly dangling earrings -- I support ur decision to sell hand-made earrings online! I'll do the marketing for u! hahaha...

Mummy's away to BKK for 3 days. So I'll have no dinner for the next 3 evenings and I'll have to wash my own clothes, tidy my bed, boil my water, wash my cups etc. ahhh.. housework!

Anyway, here's some pics I took during my bday celebration with the NP Babes.
