Headed down to the Career Fair on Saturday with some mktg babes. It turned out to be more
fun than what I thought it would be. Note the word "FUN" but NOT fruitful. =)
We had our nails done, photo taken and Miss 33 had her make-up done. ALL FOC! Felt like such cheapos but after some mental calculation, we realized we saved up over 30 bucks. haha! of coz Miwa's french manicure alone already saved her 27 bucks.
We also participated in some fun games.
- "Guess the price of this outfit". Basically, we look at the 2 different set of outfit wore by the mannequins - one female and one male, then we've to guess the correct price of the total outfit wore by the mannequin. THE PRIZE? You win the outfit!! I thought we would be participating for the female outfit but enlightened by Miss 33, we decided to guess the price for the male outfit too! why?? Coz Miss 33 said:" Never mind! Win liao, we can always EBAY it!!". SHe's so smart!!
- "Count the Milk Cans". okie, u all should noe what this means, right? I started poking at the "plastic container" that was "housing" the tower of cans, only to be reminded by the lady to read the sign right in front of me "PLS DON'T TOUCH THE DISPLAY". I think I was blind...
- This game I refused to participate. But Miss 33 and Jingsi gladly joined it. It's too "complicated" for me to elaborate. So why not just click on 33's blog to find out if you're interested? Well, anyway, they won some milk cans after the game.
After a free manicure, taking free passport-sized photos and playing some silly games, it seemed like we didn't really fulfill the main objective of this trip, right? But we did! We were reconfirmed at the fact that tour leaders can really speak rubbish, we were offered to be spa therapists after telling the leader we're going to be fresh graduates. What else? oh! We can become mgmt trainees at some hotel -- Which department?? For HOUSEKEEPING! What a fun day!!
