Trying to submerge myself into the Chinese New Year mood. Had a pretty rough week, irritated most of the time. Struck by the occurrence of one unfortunate event, and it just built up like a snow ball. But it's okie, I'm gonna move on and try to think more
happy thoughts. I'm sure brain-washing myself works. =)
Okie, Miss Lychee had finally left for Netherlands and I hope you're doing fine there, girl. That's 5 months w/o the company of one bitchy girl, all the way till I hopefully meet up with her in Europe for our grad trip!

Memoirs of the Geisha wasn't disappointing as what I thought it would be. Probably attributed by the mere fact that I read the book a few years back and had forgotten the details of the book. So all in all, I thought it was pretty good. Not boring.. and Gong Li acted so much better than the lead actress, Zhang Zhiyi... Gong Li looks so so so pretty!!! And she's 40 years old? Who will believe that?
Last night was the Network Night for
P ahhh G (trying to be discreet here just-in-case)... Obviously a recruitment event and the Mktg gang was down together. Started by a pretty boring talk/discussion/presentation/brain-washing event in the beginning, and that made so many of us hungry for dinner. Great and delicious buffet was served but we didn't have enough to eat coz the plates' too small. haha! Totally made the wrong move to shift to the VIP table, only to be surrounded by Vice-Dean, GM and Finance Director of the company, and making small talks about the books they read, and the fact that their children had to move from countries to countries.. bleh bleh bleh.... Didn't contribute one sentence to the conversation and all I did was to smile and laugh at the correct moment when they cracked a joke. arrgghhh... And worst of all, I didn't eat enough!!! Such a wrong move! should have stick to the original table... well, we all learnt from our own silly mistakes.
Presentation in GMS class today was terrifying... One lesson taught: Never let any tough Qs smack you right in the face! You've got to Defend!! haha!!
So much for this week. I'm looking forward to CNY! Missed it last year and I wanna eat all those New Year goodies that I didn't enjoy last year! haha!! HURRAY!!!
