Sylvia! happy 21st birthday!!For someone whose birthday falls on the 4th August, I know this entry's coming in alittle too late for you. But it's the thought that counts. Afterall, I've been to your party and sent you a sms to wish you happy birthday! haha. Just wanted to dedicate this entry to you coz I think I wrote the msg in your birthday card alittle too urgently and I didn't do a good job. So much for a good ending. =)
For someone who loves pink and glitter, like me and who has in many ways impressed me...Met this girl in Hall 15, during the 1st week of my 1st yr in NTU. I rem seeing her in the TV lounge. Me and my roomie decided to talk to her and her friend. 1st impression:
"WOW! What big nice eyes she has!!" After a few mintues into the talking, I took a peek at her hp and sth caught my eye! WAH!! What a nice pic of this beautiful babe as her wallpaper. Curious, I asked her who's that and she bashfully said that it's her. HAR??? My 1st reaction, how can it be? and the conversation went on and on... haha. and it all happened 2 years ago. 2nd year in NTU, Syl and Jiewei became our dear neighbours and it's always so fun having them just staying next to us. 03-1472 and 03-1473. Days and nights were spent running into each others' room and lying lazily on her bed playing "Dai-tee" and talking nonsense and of coz things that do makes sense at times. Those were the days when baking cheesecakes became a tool for earning money and 03-1473 became a "Cakeshop". =)
Alot of other things happened. Happy and unhappy. Tired so hard in convincing them to stay back in Hall 15 during 3rd yr but in vain. But it really doesn't matter coz we can still hang out together but I know things aren't as fun as before. Really think that she's someone different (as I think all my friends are unique in one way or another). Can't really think of someone as stubborn as her (be it in a gd way or not). And I'm impressed by how much she can see thru a person's mind at times. Experienced as what I always say, she can often see thru pple's true colours.
I know sometimes life can get really shitty and things may not turn out the way you desire. But I can always trust you to do the right things and I sincerely hope that your 21st can be the turning point in your life and all things will turn out right!
