I know I'm suppose to post up my Ottawa trip pics. Rest assure I'll do it soon, this wkend I think.. Coz I've been bz with sch work, projects are starting to pile up u know?? Anyway, it's Saint Patrick's Day tmr!! I know u guys must be thinking?? WHAT?? St Patrick's Day?? I was equally puzzled till I was enlightened by Claire, this Irish girl who stays in Harkness. So St Patrick's this saint who brought christianity into IReland, so in order to commemorate,they named the day after him. It's an Irish tradition. And actually there's a myth to it, they said St Patrick actually drove all the snakes out of Ireland, coz it's so rare to see snakes in Ireland. hmm... sounds alittle bizzard, but it's the truth. So what do they do to celebrate St Patrick's Day??? PEOPLE DRINK AND PARTY TILL THEY'RE DEAD DRUNK!!!!!!!!!! haha........ do u guys know what that means?? it means that I'm gonna PARTY TMR!!!!!! hahaha.... The international students will be going to Peel Pub at 8pm tmr. Oh, u guys will wonder, what?? 8pm?? why so early?? FYI, on St Patrick's Day, everyone starts drinking in noon!! Apparently, it's the craziest day u can see in Queen's where alot of students will skip class just to go to pubs and drink the whole day thru. hahaha... Oh, I guess i missed out one detail, the colour code for the day. It's GREEN!! so I'm gonna wear a green top tmr and go celebrate St Patrick's Day (even though I'm not Irish). According to the pple here, everyone just uses this day as a chance to party all day! haha.. I heard they serve green-coloured beers at pubs tmr! GOnna try them out!! haha.....
