I had an awesome time in Quebec. Just got back and it's Sunday night now but I can't wait to tell u guys about my trip. THe pics will come in later but for now, I can tell u about my unforgettable experience with the MOnt Morency Falls!! YESH!! I finally got to see a waterfall! I've always wanted to see Waterfalls.. and I thought I only had the chance to see Niagara at the end of my term in Canada but there's a prelude and now i can't wait to see Niagara coz Mont Morency was enough to take my breath away.. Serious. We had a close encounter with the falls coz the lake's frozen so we could walk on the lake and there's like a huge pile of snow forming sth like a mountain that we could climb on top and watch the fall as close as we could get. My whole body was wet when I went so close to the falls.. Okie, and the best part was that I got to see a rainbow at the falls.. GOsh!!!!!! ArrgHh... I'm the happiest girl in the world at that particular moment when I shot a pic with the rainbow. THe pic turned out so clear.. I LOVE IT!!
Okie, Quebec's this French city where everything's in french and so QL and mine understanding of French came in ALITTLE handy in Quebec. haha... It's such a beautiful city. THink it's my 2nd fave trip after Vancouver (coz I went to Rockies then, nothing could beat that). Everything reminded me of Europe and gosh.. the buildings and structures are just so unique. We went across the Quebec bridge to go to Orleans Island.. This small island (okie, not that small) with strawberry, apple and other farms... We wanted to visit the Choc Factory but it turned out to be just a choc shop. After that, we decided to see the Apple farm but we ended up walking all the way and couldn't find the farm. But it's okie, coz I enjoyed the walk there coz I saw a beautiful sunset. and everything's so serene there, large pasture of land, winding roads.. so nice!!
We also visited the ST lawrence river, by the old port. ANd there's the Planes of Abraham (did I spell correctly?) U guys can check out the pics. RJ, Karen and I left Quebec this morning to go to MOntreal to catch the Eternal Egpyt museum. It's this temp exhibition that has collections from the British Museum in London of statues, sculptures and remains from the ancient Egypt. Missed that exhibition the last time we went to MOntreal coz we were too early (the exhibtions start like 1 wk later or sth)It's really interesting...
