Going away this weekend to Ottawa (Capital of Canada). Been there once during the Commerce Mystery Trip but I didn't get to see much of anything coz it's just like half a day trip. I think it's a very nice city but if I'm thinking that there'll be lots of things to do there, I know I'm wrong. It's like a capital of Canada yah, but it's where all the government stuff are held and their buildings and stuff. Think the only thing that i'm looking forward to is this Jail Tour. Well, Gerry and a couple of the girls had been there and they told us that it's seriously haunted. Okie... FOr those who know me well enuff , u will know how Lixuan and horror flicks will NEVER go tog. BUt i'm kinda excited to go and see how it's gonna be like. THere'll be this jail tour held at 7pm ( hmmm.. seriously y 7pm? I think we all know why. ) there's also accomodation if u wanna stay there, but er....... u think i'll pay 26 bucks to go and stay there and scare the shit hell out of me? NEVER!!!!! Gerry went and she didn't sleep a wink. Yup, I'll prob have to make one of the girls knock me unconscious to make me stay there.
Projects are starting to pile up. For those mktg peeps back in spore, i know u must be thinking " WHAT?? now then start getting projects???" Yah, we only have one proj per module. Others are like individual assignments and mid-term papers that will make up the rest of the marks. Working with the locals are challenging.. Coz: 1) their ideas flow out like water off a runnin tap. 2) they speak so fast u have no idea when to say what u wanna say. 3) I'm doing a proj on BEERS!!!! what the hell would I know about beers??? Anyway, on the topic on beers. It's already disgusting how much they like to drink beer. ANd they have to make it worse by loving to TALK ABOUT BEERS during class times. Yah, alot of my case studies are on beer. I must say Canadians just have this thing on B.E.E.R. hahaha...... The group mates that I have are really nice. But i guess I have to learn how to communicate better with them. But they're nice. Doubt any of them are free-riders... Keep my fingers crossed!
