Happy Birthday HM!! Yup!! It's my roomie's birthday and I'm not in Singapore.. I think I've said Happy Birthday to her in so many forms and in so many "places", on my MSN Nick, on MSN, called her on the phone, on sth we sent her, and err.. another few places. Gosh... But I don't seem to get tired of telling her the same thing. Happy Birthday! and Since it's her birthday today, I shall be nice and make an effort to write an entry solely about her. So if u dunno who Huan Min is, have no interest in knowing who she is or know her too well to read more about her, pls don't read on. Coz it's probably gonna bore you!
okie! here goes.. Once upon a time.. Shit! what a starting. We knew each other since Sec 1 (1997), 1st day of sch when our parents (mummies) met and realised that my sis was her sis's friend and that both mummies had met during our sisters' schooling days. (due to the privacy of our sisters, I'll not disclose how long it had been) and then I remembered I was sitting in the hall, in line with my other classmates (Class Sec 1/3), when this girl came forward and asked me if she can sit beside me. She was wearing a black framed specs (i think, no matter what, it's ugly frames) and big alfro hair which I thought was disproportionately huge for any girl. I said "yes" and then soon started our conversation.. SHe's Huan Min..
Then we ended up in the same class (Sec 1/3) and were both later transferred again to the same class (sec 1/1) coz some other girls (Peiying included) came into Sec 1/3 and some girls had to be transferred to another class. Then, we joined the same ECA (NPCC)and since she stay near my house, we ended up going to and back from sch almost everyday together. I remember that we often take the same SBS bus to Crescent (272 then 132). If we don't see each other in 272, we'll wait for each other at the bus terminal and take 132 together. Of coz, I can't leave out this part w/o mentioning my dearest Peiying, who's often LATE!!
AFter the Crescent days, we ended up in the same JC where we slacked our way thru, joining Co-opt tog. Rem we wanted to join Touch tog?? haha... So silly. Then into College days, where we became room-mates. We address each other "roomie" and ever so often crap thru the night b4 we fall asleep. I always nag her to go for classes even though she refuses to attend lectures (saying that it's unproductive, she rather sleep in hall then in the lecture theatres.) I hope her sis or any of her family members read this.
I don't dare to say that we share exactly the same kind of hobbies and we don't exactly share the same style in clothes nor in colour. haha.. But we both laugh at the slightest thing, in a way that's often "unbearable" or "contagious" to many. Her easy-going nature makes her so lovable and so often make her the easy target to bully. She just laughs it off everytime we make fun of her. I'm like just writing a friendster testimonial for her man.. Anyway, u guys know what I mean. FOr those who already knows her, I'm sure u'll agree with what I said.
Oh, b4 I end, just a note to let u guys know, she's grown out of the thick ugly framed glasses and big alfro hair.. CHeck out the pics!
