Realised that I hadn't been writing much about me studying in Queen's, as in the classes and everything. Make it seems as though I'm still on holiday, blogging on just the fun part of my life here. Classes here are all in seminar styles, like back in NTU. There's no lecture, no tutorial, just seminars. The classroom's like a small lecture theatre with rows and rows of benches.. Dunno if you guys can imagine. But for those from CGS, it's like the amphi-theatre next to the staff room. We always have alot of readings to do before each class and readings are usually case studies that the professors will go thru during class. (that's where all the participation points come in). We've projects to do too, just that we haven't started on it. Guess we only need to start on it after the 1st reading week. And out of the 4 modules that I'm taking in Queen's, I only have 2 papers to sit for in April as the other 2 modules are all based on assignments and projects. Still dunno if it's a good thing coz if there're exams, I dun have to work so hard for my projects but now there's NO exams, I guess I have to take my projects seriously. Basically, I think the students here are really smart (or at least they seem smart) and they must be freaking rich, coz everything's here so expensive. That's wad I heard from one of the locals, that stuff in Kingston are so expensive is coz Queen's attracted all the rich kids to study in it. Damn!!
