I'm always hoping for chances to make my life less ordinary and create a more exciting life and finally I have found another chance for me to do so. MY EXCHANGE TO QUEEN'S UNIVERSITY. Okie, for those who still dunno about it (where have u been in my life?), I'm going for the NTU INSTEP which allows me to study for a semester in a foreign university.
When I 1st got into NTU and heard about this INSTEP exchange programme, i got all excited and told Rou Jun about it. And since great minds think alike, both of us decided to try out for it together. haha.. didn't think that we'll actually get into Queen's University coz there were like 11 applicants vying for like 4 pathetic places. But you know wad?? The school decided to open up more places and all 10 of us can go!! HURRAY!!!
Well, a little about this Queen's Uni that I'm going, it's situated in Kingston, Ontario which is in Canada. It's like next to Toronto and it's really near the US borders and for those who knows Ontario well enough, it's actually the Canadien side of the Niagara Falls!!!!! NIAGARA FALLS!! I'm so excited! But I've heard about how cold the weather can be, all thanks to my friend, Kim who has migrated to Vancouver. When I e-mailed her recently about my exchange to Queen's, she was like "OMG, you're coming to Canada? OMG, you're gonna freeze your ass off!" Okie, thanx, that's wad I really need to know! haha.. but I must really thank her for warning me and she's so nice to teach me how to "layer" myself when I'm there. Geez.. I'm gonna look like a snow-man or rather snow-woman when I'm there. AARg..... But i'm still EXCITED! haha
